Beach Lesson 101: Share, don't hoard. There's More than Enough to Go Around. (From A Beachcomber's Odyssey, Vol. II due out Spring '11)
Sort through your beach treasure stocks and bring what you don't want or need to the conference. Make someone else's day (and probably your own, too) by trading or giving away these beach treasures. At the '09 conference, 'comber Mike showed up with a bucketful of beautiful sea glass a friend had given to him to share. Everyone took turns picking through the glass and everyone went home with pockets full of luminous amberina, ice blue, cornflower blue, kelly and olive green glass shards.
